Hey Bud...

Good evening folks....thought I would share my wee card that I made today!

The stamp is from Satamping Bella and is called Hey Bud...isn't it cute?  I coloured the stamp with Spectrum Noir Aquablend pencils, and they are just the best, love them so much!

You can pop over to the Spectrum Noir Blog to check out more cards made using all products from the Spectrum Noir range.

I built up the layers of colour using a waterbrush, blending and shading...it's actually much bolder IRL! the papers are from The Sweet Shoppe, which I layered onto brown cardstock.  I added a wee piece of lace to one of the layers, and some flowers and a swirly leaf...oh yes nearly forgot...those teeny weeny pearls too!

challenges:
The Ribbon Girl - anything goes
Sweet Stampin' - swirls and pearls
Stamping Sensations - flower power
Fab 'n' Funky - flowers
Allsorts - wings

A little honeybear...

Hi everybody...hope you are all well!

I thought I would share my card I made today...the stamp is called honeybear from Stamping Bella which I coloured with Spectrum Noir Aquablend pencils...love them!

I am still practising with these pencils but I have to say they are fab.

I stamped the image using archival ink, then gently coloured the image, I then took my paintbrush loaded with water to blend the colours. I added some doodling to the edges and layered onto black card. The background paper is from The Sweet Shoppe which I also layered onto black card. I added a piece of lace for something extra.

Aquablend pencils used: nutmeg, charcoal brown, hickory, sky blue, oregano, straw, pesto green.

challenges:
The Ribbon Girl - any image
Simon Says Stamp - cute and cuddly
Little Miss Muffet - anything goes
  Card and Scrap - lace

I'm so sorry...

Hi everyone, hope you are well!

I thought I would share my wee card I made using the fabulous new Spectrum Noir Aquablend pencils, I have to say they are amazing!!  You can buy them from the Crafter's companion store...here!

The stamp I have used is called Gigi the Giraffe from Stamping Bella....isn't he just so cute?  I coloured the stamp using the pencils...they are soo easy to use.  Once I stamped the image I took the pencil to the card and just gradually added a bit of colour and then blended it with a wet brush...gradually built up the layers until I was happy with the colour.

Here's a close up of the coloured image....I don't normally add an extra close up but I am so impressed with these pencils that I needed to share the close up...I hope you likey!

Pop over to the Spectrum Noir Blog for more inspiration!

Happy Birthday...

There's a new challenge over on the Spectrum Noir Facebook Page, this months challenge is "show us your sparkle"...

You can also pop over to the Spectrum Noir blog to find out loads of tips and techniques on using all your Spectrum Noir products.

For my card I have used Spectrum Noir Aqua pens, I scribbled some ink onto acetate, spritx with water and used the ink like an ink pad and stamped the distressed balloons.  I then inked up the outline to stamp over the colour.  I then used another background stamp to make splodges.  I coloured the balloons with a clear glitter pen and then added some sequins.
