Candy hearts...

howdy peeps....it's a very, very rainy day here today and there's nothing better than to play with your new sugar....mmmm! so delivered today and ordered yesterday...how is that for service from Funky Kits??

Not sure if I have went a bit overboard but I thought I would start with this little cutie called Candy Hearts from Sugar Nellie, coloured with copics. I also stamped the image onto masking paper and stuck the mask down onto the coloured image and then chalked the blue background....The papers are Echo Park - Hello Summer and Prima - Double Deux, all the layers have also been distressed. The clouds and flowers have been cut with MFT die-namics, I touched up the flowers with some ink too and then doodles everywhere really!! I finished with some glitter to the flowers...hope you like.

Share it on a Sunday...

Good evening fellow bloggers and I am bit later than planned with my SOS!! Bit first of all my boy has made contact from Turkey...he said it was a bit chilly today as it was only 35 degrees...lol!! I will be so jealous of his tan when he comes back as he just needs to look at the sun and goes brown!!

So for my Share it on a Sunday over on the Sugar Nellie blog I thought I would share some funny little kitten photos...I know there are many cat lovers out there and I used to have a cat...they are just so cute!!

Don't you just love them!!

The worry begins....

Well folks...worried I hear you ask?? Tonight my son is staying at his girlfriends as they both go on holiday to Turkey tomorrow. Now he has just said his goodbyes and said he won't be using his phone as it's too expensive so not to bother texting or phoning him...for a fortnight...I don't think so...I have already lost 3 stones and I don't want to loose another 3 stones!! I bought him his sun cream as he wasn't going to bother....em yes you will bother!! Now on Monday they said they had printed their boarding passes for going but couldn't print the ones for coming back home so ...wait for it...asked me if they just took the holiday receipts would that be enough to let them on the plane...oh my word, I am worried now!! They do now have the boarding passes for coming home thank goodness!! The good thing is they are all inclusive so they will be fed for the fortnight so at least I know he will be ok foodwise....

Will keep you posted....

Friends Forever...

Howdy folks and another sunny but cold day here in Scotland. I thought I would get a wee bit crafting done today before I go back to work tomorrow...oh and I need to do the usual chores!!
I actually bought this stamp a few weeks ago but only inked it up last night. The stamp is from Stampavie - Fishing Fun which I coloured with copics, I also cut the image out to give it a 3D effect. The papers are a mix from various MME collections. The cloud is a MFT die-namic and the sun is a daisy die but I snipped the ends off. I added some twine and buttons to finish.

Sweet little birthday..

Howdy blogging fans...well it's another fairly sunny but not warm day here in Scotland...but fine for the washing!!
I started colouring this little cutie last night and now it's made into a card. I love these LOTV fairies, they are adorable.
So the stamp and sentiment are both from LOTV which I coloured with copics, the papers are Fancy Pants - Summer Soul which I layered onto bazzill card, I then added some stitching and distressed the edges. I added a piece of lace just for a change instead of ribbon. The flourish is a Do Hickey die and the rolled roses are cut from a MFT die-namics die, I added 2 little pearls and finished with lots of glitter to the wings, feelers and ribbon...not that you can see it very well in the photo.

My favourite....

Good morning folks....this will be short and sweet this morning as it's the Gala Day...woo hoo...so just getting ready. First I have to share Pippi with you...The challenge over at Sweet Stampin' this week is "your favourite stamp". What a hard decision this was as I have many stamps that I really love and I have a bestest favourite which is a Christmas one but I didn't feel like making a Christmas card so I decided to use Pippi Longsocks from Sugar Nellie...she is well up there in my top few!

I used papers from Papermania - Portobello Road and Making Memories, I stitched each of the layers and distressed the edges, the flowers and buttons are cut from MFT dies, I added a twine bows through the buttons, the flourish is cut from a do hickey die, the message is from LOTV and the stamp is Pippi from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics....went with the red, white and blue theme since it was the Jubilee next week.

Pop over to the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog...this week we are sponsored by Letraset, who are giving away a set of pens and we also have our monthly sponsor Joanna Sheen who is giving a £10 voucher.
