Lovely Rose..

Well here we are with the second of my posts today...I just had to colour this one as soon as she arrived yesterday... The stamp is from Personal Impressions - Rose which I have coloured with copics. The papers are from Basic Grey - Kissing Booth which have been layered onto kraft. I added a few felt and kraft flowers which I cut using my fabby MFT flower trio die - my most favouritest die and tied a button on with some twine. I finished with some glitter on Rose's dress.

Best Day Ever...

Good morning folks and a wee scheduled post this morning. when I say best day ever...I don't mean that I am having the best day ever, that's the name of this little stamp from Sugar Nellie...isn't she sweet?? I have coloured this little cutie with polychromos....still more practice needed. I have used papers from Jillybean Soup - Apple Cheddar Soup and they are almost all gone but I will need to buy more as I lurve these papers. Yes again I have doodled and layered onto kraft. I added a ribbon and a bow and some gems.

Whilst I am working hard at work I hope my hubby has returned my new coat I bought yesterday. Put it on last night and the security tag is still on it. The shop assistant was too busy blethering and I didn't notice she hadn't taken it off...anyway my bargain £75 reduced to £20....all the more pennies for crafty goodies.

Remember to pop over to Sweet Stampin' for a new challenge today.

Good morning folks, well the snow from yesterday seems to have disappeared for the time being although it's very frosty and baltic!!

Well you know it would only be a matter of time before Fifi would be on my blog and here she is...I love Fifi just as much as her pal Pippi..they are best pals on my desk!!

For my card today I have used a mix of papers from First Edition - Up and Away and Jillybean soup - Apple cheddar Soup...one of my favourite colour combos. I distressed each of the layers..the stamp is Fifi goes shopping from sugar Nellie which I have coloured with copics. I added some glitter to the furry bits on her boots and jacket. The flowers have been cut with my MFT flower trio die which also doodled, the felt flower has been cut with the same fie and I threaded some twine and a button on to it....finished with a message and some gems.

Little birdie love....

Hi folks and my second post today!! I couldn't wait to ink up this little cutie but I had a bit of a bother getting her as she slipped out of her packaging and went AWOL in the post along with some buddies...all safe and sound now!!

I have made this card for Michael to give to his girlfriend on Valentines Day...I hope they both like it.

So for this card I used my brand new papers from Fancy Pants - Love Collection...delish!! The stamp is from Personal Impression and is called Bluebird's proposal although I have made it pink....mmm perhaps I should have made it blue for a boy, oh well never mind!! I coloured the stamp with copics. I added some pom pom ribbon, felt flowers and hearts which were die cut, oh and also a couple of buttons threaded with black twine....bought all these from Sew Sweet. I cut the message from the same papers and finished off with some pearls. Forgot about the stitching and I tried something a bit different to kind of match in so I made it look like a heart beat.....well it's supposed to!

Good evening...

Good evening folks....well at a bit of a loose end and I am tired as I have been at work all day and my eyes are seeing numbers, rotas and shifts!! It will be like that for the next 3 weeks....aarrrgghh!!

I was having a wee browse and saw The Stamp Man were holding their annual awards so I thought why not enter.

Now you have to choose your best or favourite project from 2011 and although this was difficult as I think most of the cards that I have made are special to me in some way but I have chosen this one as my favourite which I originally posted here.

This one was of the first cards I made colouring with Distress Inks. I was completely inspire by the lovely Elaine who colours with DI's and Nick Bantock Inks and does it amazingly. I absolutely love colouring with them too and yes I do need more practise but I did take almost 4 hours to colour this Sassy so I think it deserves to be my favourite!! The stamp is Apple of my Eye from Sugar Nellie which you can buy here from Funky Kits. the papers I have used are fabby too, they are Apple Cheddar Soup from Jillybean Soup.

It's orange...

Good morning my fellow bloggers....now the storms have calmed down, it's now white outside!! I will be glad when this winter is over, perhaps that means we will have a good summer... Well I have been doodling away colouring with my new polychromos, and I think they do take a bit of practising. I haven't quite mastered the blending to get the same effect you get with copics or promarkers but I am not giving up as I really like them!

So, I have used Peek a Boo birthday from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with my new polychromos as I said, the papers are scraps that I have left from Echo Park - Country Drive, I must order more as I really like these papers. I also added some stitching and distressed the edges of the layers to cove up my wonky cutting...think I pulled that one off!!

Will be back shortly with Pippi!!

It's Bella...

Ok folks...next up is Bella!! When I saw Bella on Elaine's blog she made me realise how adorable Bella is so i needed to give her some colour!! So last night whilst waiting on Big Ben striking I decided to make a start.

The papers are from Fancy Pants - Summers End, and I have coloured Bella using my new polychromos...gosh does it take long. I think I am quite happy with how the colouring went apart from Bella's cankles...they look a bit patchy!! I dyed those TH flowers to match the card and added a wee message!!

Happy birthday Sophie...

Good afternoon New Year bloggers and her I am with my first posting of 2012. This card has taken me all day to make!!! The poapers I have used are from MME - Mischevious collection which have been layered onto kraft. The image is Pillow Talk from the simply Sassy range at Sugar Nellie. I coloured the hair and skin with copics and then paper pieced the rest with the matching papers. The flowers were cut using my MFT flower trio die, I added buttons an twin to the centres. I gave the whole card a doodled effect around the edges...quite like that look, I think it's cool and funky and goes well with this Sassy.

Hope Sophie likes this as it's her 18th tomorrow....
