It's the last day of the year...yay the end of another one so I thought I would do something a wee bit different and share one of the best loved stamps from Sugar Nellie...PIPPI.
Now we all love Pippi...well I certainly hope you all do!! Now Pippi has to be one of my favourites amongst others and I have made several cards using her, she is just so cute to colour including that little froggy friend of hers. So what I want you to do is make a new post with your Posse of Pippis for all to see. Once you have done that come back and leave a link to your post in the comments box below and I will pull out a lucky Pippi for a wee surprise.
You have until 8th January (Elvis's birthday) to share your posse of Pippis!!
Well another post from me today...I joined in with Debby's favourite Christmas cards so now it's time to share your favourite 5 cards from 2012!! Check out Debby's blog for all the details.
Well how hard was this....eventually I have decided and hope you like which 5 I have chosen as my favourites. You will see that I have not included any Pippi's....it was far too difficult cos I have made loads with Pippi and she would taken up all 5 spots...lol!! I might do a separate Pippi posting in the next few days so watch this space.
Next post today....well I thought I had actually finished with my Christmas cards for 2012 however when I saw the sketch and the DT cards over at Sketch Saturday I had to just make one more!!
The papers are from MME - Winter Wonderland, the image is from Dilly Beans which I have coloured with copics and then added some glitter, I tied some Bakers Twine around the card and fixed it with a glittered snowflake and a button and finally I added some doodling....hope you like this one!!
Happy Sunday everybody....another miserable day here although it was snowing earlier but now it's raining!!
I made this card for Holly's friend who is 16 next week...hope she likes it!!
I have used a mixture of MME papers from different collections, I have used the MFT rolled royal rose die and again and cut out 2 die cuts and rolled them together to give a two tone effect, the swirly corner die is from Magnolia and the numbers have been cut by hand ...goodness knows what I have done with my numbers!! The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - Fabulous Darling which has been coloured with copics. I added some pearls and some doodling to finish.
A quickie from me tonight....over at Mo's Digital Pencil they are something a bit different where you have to submit your favourite card from 2012 that you have made using a Mo image, so i have chosen the one above. I just fell in love with this stamp when I saw it.
Hey beautiful people on this very miserable day!! At least I am off work for 2 days but back on Monday, so before I get on with the less important stuff like housework, I thought I would have a little play and here is what I've created.
The stamp is from LOTV which I have coloured with copics (new ones on order), the papers are from MME - lost and Found 3 - Oliver collection...yummy!! The flowers have been cut using my die-namics rolled royal rose die but I did something a bit different...I layered 2 different coloured die cuts and rolled them together...it gives a two tone look and it does actually look quite good IRL!! i added lots of glitter and pearls.
Hello my fellow bloggers....it's almost Christmas and the lovely Debby is doing her post again for us all to share our 5 favourite Christmas Cards from 2012. so as I haven't made a huge amount it's not that difficult for me this time.
Now this has to be my favouritest stamp ever....from Sugar Nellie of course. I have used a Distinctively Dee's tree die and that fab snow flurries die from TH....loads of glitter all over!!
Next is this little cutie....this stamp from Sugar Nellie is just so pretty and I was so chuffed with my shading on this one....loads of glitter again!!
next is this one...now this isn't a Christmas stamp but it looks good in red and green!!
Oh it's my favourite stamp again and those papers too..Hot Chocolate from Fancy pants....yummy!!
Now for those of you who know me, you will know I like to doodle so I couldn't not show a card with doodling on it!! I love this one...it really pops out I think!!
Well that's my 5 and I hope you like my choice and I will be back soon with some new cards.
Good morning sugar fans and it's
that time again...yes time for another challenge over at The Sugar Bowl.
Today's challenge is the fabby sketch below...
with the optional extra of "Let it Snow"...
As always the prize for one lucky winner picked at random is 4 Sugar Nellie stamps from FunkyKits...
...over 100 entries then that prize increases to 6 Sugar Nellie stamps.
For my card I have used Titaniawhich
I coloured with copics, the papers are Echo Park - Winter Wishes. The snowflakes is a
MS punch which I glittered up I added a pearls
to the centres of the snowflakes.
Good evening folks....and a wee quickie tonight. the photo is a bit rubbish but it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home which is a bit naff but never mind!!
When I saw the challenge over at Saturated Canary...I knew exactly what i wanted to make...however that didn't quite go to plan and I ended up with the above!
The image is Latte from Saturated Canary which I coloured with copics, the papers and little embellishments are from Fancy Pants - Hot chocolate collection, i punched the snowflakes and glittered them up, I then added pearls to the centres. The tag is from LOTV and the charm is from The Hobby House.
Well today's the day that we launch our new challenge...Christmas at Sweet Stampin'....we are all so excited at the thought of snow and glitter all year round!!
Our first challenge is anything goes...as longs as it's Christmassy!!
We have a fabby prize from Funky Kits...
and also Letraset.
Now...as you can see I have gone for something a bit different and not a card. I bought this kit from Craftwork Cards at the SECC, it was so easy to make as all of the elements were in the kit, I only needed glue and glitter...oh and the bells.
I wanted to try something a bit different, so instead of layering up my papers, I inked the edges with Distress Ink...not sure about it though....
So the papers are from MME - Winter Wonderland, the snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch and a TH snow flurries die which i glittered up and then added pearls to the centres. The tags are from LOTV. The stamp is from sugar Nellie which I coloured with copics.
My name is Fiona, I am 50ish..lost track of my age!! I live in Bathgate, West Lothian. I work in an HR Department as HR Admin Manager of a large drinks company which I enjoy but in my spare time I like to make cards.I started cardmaking a few years ago and thoroughly enjoy it. I have always been into some kind of crafts especially knitting in the early days but have stuck with cardmaking. I was a trampoline coach but had to eventually give that up due to a back injury. I joined Slimming world in October 2011 and lost almost 3 stone however need to get back on track as I have since put a few pounds back on....
